This year, the middle school is recognizing outstanding student effort, behavior and ability by giving out Student of the Term awards. Each term, teachers nominate different students, discuss what they did ,and then select from each grade level. Students then get a chance to call home to tell their family and enjoy a family celebration breakfast. Way to go students.

6th graders using tennis balls to show how static electricity builds up. When the balls dropped it showed how static discharge occurs. They also created an electric circuit demonstration by passing tennis balls to show how electrons continuously flow or move with an energy source. The flow stops when the energy source is interrupted.
