Adam George

Hello!

My name is Adam George, the Band Teacher at G-E-T Middle School. This is my first year in the district, and 9th year overall of teaching. I am a proud alum of Winona State University, where I earned a degree in Instrumental Music Education.

Students will critically interpret intent and meaning in order to evaluate artistic work.

Students will relate prior knowledge and personal experience with music to cultural and historical context.

Wonderful performances at our Spring Concert and Memorial Day Program in Trempealeau.  Between the two concerts we played for approximately 1000 people!

BAND CONCERT FAQ'S

When and where is the concert? 

Our next concert is in December at 7:00pm in the High School Performing Arts Center

What time do students need to arrive? 

Students should arrive at 6:30 and meet in the band room. Students should be dropped off at the main HS entrance, and audience members should drive around and park in the PAC parking lot.

What should students wear? 

Students need to wear black bottoms and dark shoes with a white top. Please avoid jeans and sweatpants. 

Is the concert mandatory? 

Yes! This is an important part of the band grade so attendance will be taken. If a student is ill or has an emergency, please let Mrs Schacherl know as soon as possible.
