What you need to know?
For better or worse, we live in a technology rich world. As you know, every student in the middle school is issued an iPad, with case, and technology expectations. These devices have transformed education and made some things that used to be a part of the education we all grew up with obsolete . Students can access information in seconds, communicate with a teacher when not at school, and view grades and feedback instantaneously. However, technology comes with consequences that we are just starting to learn about; some positive and others negative. It adds a new dimension to parenting and possibly another source of stress in your families life. While our IT department does an excellent job of restricting students' access to harmful things on the internet, below are resources about parenting in a world of technology that some may find useful.
